We look for volunteers who:

  • Are friendly, enthusiastic and energetic
  • Enjoy working with and learning from others
  • Believe in giving great service with a smile
  • Want to become contributing members of the team
What Do Volunteers Do at Reynolds-Alberta Museum?

People volunteer in almost every area and aspect of the museum. What skills, talents, or needs do you bring with you? What are the needs of the museum today? Answers to these questions help define potential placements. Examples of roles our volunteers fill:

  • Visitor Information Host
  • Gift Shop Clerk
  • Reference Centre Assistant
  • Vintage Vehicle Driver
  • Reception/Clerical Assistant
  • Day Camp Assistant
  • Researcher
  • Restoration Shop Assistant
  • Exhibit Maintenance Assistant
  • Friends of Reynolds-Alberta Museum Society Board Members

The museum holds several Special Events each year. These are perfect for those whose busy lives only allow for brief periods of volunteer involvement. Volunteers help staff make these events special for our visitors. Volunteer jobs include:

  • Parking Patroller
  • Craft Assistant
  • Shuttle Driver
  • Gallery/Hangar Host
  • Information Desk Host
  • Volunteer Hospitality Provider
  • Demonstration/Activity Assistant
  • Entertainer/Model (History Road)

If You:
  • love meeting and talking to people of all ages, from around the world
  • believe that information and service can be given with a friendly smile
  • are keen to learn
  • want to be a contributing member of the RAM team

then join us as a volunteer!
